We are a Claremont based nonprofit volunteer organization focused on providing empowering mentorship to enable single men and women to work again and secure sustainable housing.

At CHAP, you will find volunteers either paired with an individual homeless resident or managing the overnight accommodation. Every hour that a dedicated volunteer spends at CHAP directly impacts a homeless neighbor. We believe that any volunteer can immediately change a homeless person’s life.

Will you be that person?

our mission, our team, and the results of our decades of advocacy.

These people are our friends, and with that comes from the typical ups and downs from having a friend. We get to know them on a truly human level. They’re no longer statistics. Overcoming those rough spots is, for me, the most satisfying part about working with these folks.
